The Kedarnath Temple is one of the major shrines in India’s most sacred & admired pilgrimage called Chardham Yatra of Himalya.

Panch Kedar Trek Tour Package 2024 – As per the mythology, the all five temples of Panch Kedar were built by the Pandava. After the war of Mahabharata, Pandavas wanted to go to the shelter of Shiva to atone for the sin of killing their guru, clan, brahmins and cousins. Shiva was angry with their actions and did not want to absolve him so soon. The Pandavas reached Guptkashi in search of lord shiva. The Pandavas saw that one of the cows and bulls roaming in a herd in Bugyal was different from the others. They understood that Shiva had taken the form of a bull to trick them. On being recognized by the Pandavas, Shiva made a pit there and disappeared into the ground, But Bhima caught the bull from behind. Because of this the back part of the bull remained at the same place and the other parts came out at four different places. Today these five places are known as Panch Kedar and Lord Shiva is worshiped there.

Now let’s know one by one about the Panch Kedar of Lord Shiva, where they are located in Uttarakhand and also which part of Lord Shiva’s bull form incarnation appeared at that place.
