The real adventure of the Ladakh Bike tour package will start on the third day when you leave for Jipsa via Rohtang Pass. Check out Vashisht Hot Springs, Keylong, and Solang Valley on the way. The itinerary is popular with bikers because of the variety of terrain it provides. From Jipsa, head over the Zanskar Range towards Sarchu via Baralacha La Pass. Also, The small villages along the route and the rough patches are perfect for off-road. The lakes are incredibly beautiful in the area of Lahaul and Spiti (Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal).
On the fifth day, you’ll reach Leh through a challenging road covering Nakeela Pass, Whisky Nallah, Lachulung La Pass, Pang, More Plains and Tanglang La Pass. Because of its harsh terrain, numerous hairpin bends and patches of ice, Nakeela Pass is considered one of the most dangerous mountain passes. Visit Nubra Valley from Leh. The dry desert of high altitude receives extremely low precipitation. Nevertheless, the region has some very unusual flora and fauna that include the Bactrian camels with double humps.
From there head towards the popular lake of Pangong Tso. The lake has become a popular shooting location for Bollywood films thanks to its crystal clear waters surrounded by mountains. You will then proceed to visit other attractions such as Druk White Lotus School and you can also visit Magnetic Hill, War Memorial and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib if time permits. Magnetic Hill is an interesting phenomenon that produces an optical illusion that gives you the feeling that you are going up, defying gravity when the path actually goes downhill.
After reaching Leh, it’s time to return back to Manali. The adventure isn’t over yet, though! All you have to do is trace back to Sarchu and then to Manali on the same road. Once again, you’ll ride your bike in the middle of mountains and high passes, crossing untouched rivers and rough paths. This motorcycle tour to Leh Ladakh is really memorable.
