Best time to Visit Bhutan
Bhutan is one of loveliest place to visit for the nature lover and it will be ok to travel thought the year but we would suggest you the best time to visit as-Winter-During winter November to March and Summers April to June are pleasant time to visit as the air is clear and fresh with sunny skies.One should avoid travelling during the rainy season (July to September)
How to Reach Bhutan
By Road – To those of you planning to travel by Road then they have to reach either NJP /Alipurduar railway station or Bagdogra airport. And you can get the taxi from Bagdogra/NJP/Alipurduar to Phuentsholing and our packages also provide the pickup and drop from Bagdogra/NJP/Alipurduar.
By Train – To those of you planning to travel by train then Alipurduar is the nearest railhead linked by regular trains to Delhi. You can take the Rajdhani/Shatabdi/North East express and other Expresses, which runs through Alipurduar from New Delhi Railway Station.
By Air –
Direct Flight to Bhutan:-There is direct flight to Bhutan (Paro the only airport in Bhutan) form Delhi/Calcutta/Bagdogra. The flight operators are Drunk Air/Royal Bhutan Airlines. That route is costlier due to high price of air ticket as less of flight operations.
Flight till Bagdogra and then by road:- This is most preferred and cost effective route for Indian to fly till Bagdogra is well connected with all major cities of India and then start the trip by road through Phuentsholing (border city of Bhutan) is around 160 Kms from Bagdogra. And you can get the taxi from Bagdogra to Phuentsholing and our packages also provide the pickup and drop from Bagdogra.
