Nanda Devi, which is India’s second highest mountain, lies Nanda Devi National Park in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. The walk to the base camp is generally considered one of the most difficult. National Park Nanda Devi is open to visitors from 1 May to 31 October, for just six months during the year.
