In Rajasthan, Nakki Lake in Mount Abu really describes romance. Named Mount Abu Love Lake, it is also India’s highest manmade lake at an altitude of 11,000 metres. It is also a sacred lake for the Rajasthan Garacia tribe, and it is the place of worship and remembrance of their ancestors at the time of their festival in Shukla paksha which falls in April month. At this festival , people are consecrating their nails in the water. It is the reason why this lake has been named ‘Nakki.’
