Adi Kailash yatra By Road
Adi Kailash yatra by road is only & the best option available now. Initially, the road conditions were quite bad even non-motorable sometimes. That was taking approx. 18 days for Adi Kailash tour from Delhi. Recently, in 2020, India opened and inaugurated a newly built road in this area from Gunji to Limpiyadhura Pass (Lampiya Dhura Pass on the India-China border). The new road reduces the travel time to Adi Kailash substantially. The Adi Kailash Yatra by road starts from either Haldwani/Kathgodam Railway station or Delhi. Now, it takes just 7-8 days to complete the yatra from Haldwani or Delhi as well. There is merely a 1.5 KM trek only if one goes for Charan Sparsh.
