Itinerary
Board your flight or train from New Delhi to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi guests are picked up from the Airport (22 km) / Railway Station (3 km) and taken to the hotel. Freshen get ready for the evening Ganga Aarti (Hindu ritual) at Dasaswamedh Ghat or you can spend your evening at leisure enjoying the views of Ganga. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Get up early in the morning for a boat ride on the holy Ganga River and experience the daily rituals. See the long string of ghats (steps) that line the river, where locals practice yoga, and hindus do morning prayers before bathing in the river to wash away their sins free from the circle of rebirth. After breakfast, explore the holy city of Varanasi, an important pilgrimage destination for Hindus for thousands of years. By visiting the temple of Bharat Mata, the Golden Temple of Kaashi Vishwanath, the Museum of Benaras Hindu University, the Temple of Sankat Mochan, visiting the temples of the river ghats and the market of Old Town.
