Overview
The temple of Lord Mallikarjuna is situated in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The temple is situated in the town of Srisailam on the banks of River Patalganga Krishna. Srisailam mountain is looked upon reverentially as the Kailash of South.
he temple situated here is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is among the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. One unique feature of the temple is that all the devotees who visit the temple are allowed to touch the idol, which is not prevalent in any other temple.
Itinerary
Upon arrival at Hyderabad Airport / Railway Station, meet & greet service by our representative. Further drive to Sirailam, the place where one of 12 Jyotirlinga is located. On arrival, check-in to the hotel and get relaxed. Later proceed to Malikarjuna Temple and have the darshan of Lord Shiva. Then visit local temples and places of Sirsailam according to the time. Cover the places like Bhramaramba Devi Temple, Srisailam Ropeway, Paatala Ganga, Chenchu Lakshmi Museum, Sakshi Ganapati Temple, Paladhara Panchadara, and Srisailam Dam. Return back to the hotel for the Overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast, once again attend the morning aarti at Malikarujuna Temple (Jyotirlinga) and have the darshan. Later depart to Hyderabad. On arrival, get dropped at Hyderabad Airport / Railway station / Hotel accordingly, for your onwards journey.
